Organ Recital Series
St Laurence Music Inc. hosts a monthly recital at Christ Church St Laurence on the famous 1892 Hill & Son Organ. The series presents the finest in local, interstate and international visitors, and previous recitalists have included guests from Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland and the United States. Entry to the recital is by ‘note’ donation (no bookings are necessary), and funds raised support the work of St Laurence Music, Inc. The recital is followed by an afternoon tea, where the audience has the opportunity to meet the recitalist.

Luther 500 Concert
A concert marking the 500th Anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation featuring Max Reger’s Phantasie on Ein fest burg played by Kurt Ison, other Lutheran organ works performed by Peter Jewkes and Joshua Ryan, and the Christ Church St Laurence Choir with soloists and orchestra will perform J. S. Bach’s monumental Cantata Ein feste burg. Please note this concert is not part of the Organ Recital Series and is a separate ticketed event.

Recitals are typically held at 2pm on the third Sunday of the month at (except where Church commitments prohibit). Admission is by ‘note’ donation which includes afternoon tea following the recital.
